About Suzie's Mission
In the early hours of September 2, 2021, just days after her 30th birthday, the Hanna family lost their beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law and aunt, Suzie Hanna, in what can only be described as a terrible tragedy. Suzie was a true light in this world. Known to her family and friends as someone who would give the shirt off her back, she lived to do things for others, even in the littlest of ways.
To honor the person Suzie was and to keep her memory alive, the Hanna family established Suzie's Mission, which aims to help as many people and organizations as possible through multiple fundraisers throughout the year. In addition, we encourage everyone to follow in Suzie's footsteps and perform random acts of kindness. We hope to leave this world a little brighter - just like Suzie.

"We just want people to follow in her footsteps.
Do what they can to be kind and make the world a better place just like Suzie did when she was here."

Meet Suzie
By: Sue Hanna, Suzie's Mom
Suzie was a kind hearted person who always saw the best in people. She was not a materialistic person nor did she live a lavish lifestyle; she preferred her sweats and sweatshirt and she was content.
The middle sibling of five, Suzie was the heart of the family. Always looking out for her siblings, sending them words of encouragement or congratulations for the milestones in their lives. When her sister, Kellie, had her daughter, Ava, Suzie fell smitten like the rest of us. She and Ava formed a bond that we are ensuring endures forever.
She was funny. Often she would begin a story that she laughed her way through, losing her audience along the way with her rambling. We'd laugh. We ended up coining the term "Suzie stories" and would ask her if the story she was about to tell was actually funny or Suzie funny. Regardless of how funny the content of the story was, we'd laugh just hearing her tell it.
Suzie's mission in life was to help friends, strangers and family. If you came in contact with Suzie, you instantly became her best friend. To know her was to love her. She valued and trusted friendship. At times I would tell her to stop being so nice and start looking out for yourself, “Mom, you don’t understand, they needed help.” Suzie did her mission on earth a lot quicker than the average person. God needed her to be with him. Suzie taught me a valuable lesson; look into that person's heart. Help whenever you can even at times when you yourself need the help.
Her light will never be dim and her light will forever shine.
We love & miss you tremendously, Suzie.
